About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a VDC Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 75k/year - 95k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the St. Petersburg, FL area.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical/plumbing design
- Team player with a customer-focused approach; adaptable to changing environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing system design fundamentals and installation methods
- In-depth understanding of mechanical and plumbing codes (IPC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and specifications
- Proficiency in HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace or similar programs
- Experience in duct sizing, layout, and design for air systems
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with VRV, WSHP, and DX Split systems; CADD/Revit experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
