About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Telecom Analyst to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 89k/year - 104k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Merrillville, IN area.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in telecom analysis, IT infrastructure, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Tangoe or similar telecom expense and inventory management platforms
- Familiarity with telecom systems, including POTS lines and VoIP technologies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting telecom conversions or infrastructure upgrades
- Knowledge of telecom billing processes and cost optimization strategies
- Familiarity with service management platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy
- Understanding of porting and RESPORG processes for managing telephone number transitions
