About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 133k/year - 149k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Bellevue, WA area.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in control systems, automation, or related technical environments
- Experience working with Linux or QNX platforms
- Understanding of industrial networking protocols such as Profibus, ASi, and Industrial Ethernet
- Experience creating automated alarms, reports, and KPI metrics for operations or plant management
- Experience with vendor management and project or program management
- Strong understanding of automation systems and industrial technologies
Plusses
- Experience designing or supporting fulfillment centers
- Experience working in fulfillment, logistics, or automation-heavy environments
- Prior experience working in large-scale operations environments
