Gentis Solutions is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 137k/year - 148k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Bellevue, WA area.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related Control Systems Engineering occupation.
- Experience with managing material handling or automation projects.
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
- Experience in IPC/PLC code deployment and installation of controls solutions, preferred platforms are Allen Bradley (Rockwelll) and Codesys
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Understanding of industrial networking (Profibus, ASi and Industrial Ethernet) and Ethernet Networking solutions and concepts
- Strong time and task management skills with consistent attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:
- Operations Management/Distribution Center experience.
- Direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or technical projects.
- Proven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programs.
- Demonstrated design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
- Proven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programs.
- Understanding of industrial networking (Profibus, ASi and Industrial Ethernet) and Ethernet Networking solutions and concepts -
- Experience with creating automated alarms, reports and KPI metrics for plant management.
