About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Specialist, Electrical Engineer (Hardware Verification) to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 100k/year - 120k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Rochester, NY area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Graduate Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; or minimum 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- 5–7+ years of overall professional experience in a related field
Preferred Additional Skills
- Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD)
- Familiarity with software management tools (e.g. SVN/GIT, JIRA)
- RF and baseband test and measurement experience. Familiarity with test equipment such as: Spectrum/Network analyzers, Power Meters, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Audio analyzers
- Experience with RS-232, Ethernet, USB, TCP/IP
- Networking and Radio communication system experience
- Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
- Familiarity with Python, C#.NET, XML, HTML/CSS/JS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- LabVIEW Programming experience
- Test and Measurement experience
