About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer III to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 125k/year - 137k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Herndon, VA area.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Must have experience developing services for Windows, including Windows Event Logging, Windows registry, WMI, Event Tracing for Windows (ETW), and Windows file system.
  • Preferred coding skills: Golang and Python.
  • Other desired technical skills include expertise in the Windows kernel and UNIX/Linux.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6-12 years of relevant experience are required.
