About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 0.08k/year - 0.0875k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Columbus, OH area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of expert experience in delivering test automation using Tricentis Tosca
  • 5 to 7+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience in project work, process management, and quality assurance
  • Proven track record of leading strategic projects or automation testing functions while executing tactical project-level activities and tasks
  • Experience working with distributed teams in global, matrixed, and fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrable experience as a change agent, successfully implementing changes in large cross-functional organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and drive initiatives independently
  • Deep understanding of quality assurance and testing practices within the SDLC

Nice to Have

  • Certification in Tosca Automation (e.g., AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2)
  • Experience with mobile application testing
  • Knowledge and experience in automation tools and techniques, including Gherkin, Jenkins, Postman, SQL coding, and API testing
  • Familiarity with setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of industry test automation trends and strategies for improving test automation maturity
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Proven competency in project management
  • Knowledge and experience with requirements and testing tools such as Tricentis qTest and JIRA
