About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 94k/year - 105k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Cincinnati, OH area.
Requirements
- Experience with Confluence/Atlassian, including use of automations and AI features
- Strong technical background with familiarity in using and interpreting technical terminology
- Proven process and coaching experience, especially in documentation or knowledge-management workflows
- Ability to partner effectively with engineering, product, and design teams to translate technical concepts into structured, clear documentation
- Experience defining content standards, governance models, taxonomy, tagging, and metadata
- 5+ years of experience in content management, knowledge management, or technical writing in software, data, or AI/ML environments
- Experience building or maintaining centralized knowledge systems in technical organizations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent editorial, organization, and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical groups
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, tooling, or model documentation
- Experience applying information architecture principles at scale
- Background supporting technical onboarding, process documentation, or internal documentation programs
