About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 137k/year - 174k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Columbus, OH area.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing complex, enterprise-wide programs
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience across IT and business functions
  • Proven track record managing multi-year programs with budgets of $5M–$10M+ including internal, external, labor, and non-labor cost components
  • Strong knowledge of project management best practices, including waterfall, Agile, and SDLC methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Skilled at building relationships and influencing executive sponsors and stakeholders
  • Expertise in project cost management, resource capacity planning, scenario modeling, and KPI tracking
  • Strong business process analysis and mapping experience
  • Experience with change management to support program success
  • Proficiency with portfolio and reporting tools: ServiceNow PPM, JIRA, Power BI, and MS Project
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to navigate ambiguity and drive results
  • Self-starter with a high sense of ownership and ability to build processes from the ground up

  • Experience with indirect management of team members, including mentoring, training, and work assignment
  • Background in enterprise capacity planning and cross-functional collaboration
