About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 270k/year - 283k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the New York City, NY area.
Must Have
- 8+ years of experience in technical product or program management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience owning and executing product roadmaps
- Experience writing clear technical requirements
- Experience making and communicating product tradeoffs
- Experience delivering features from concept through launch
- Experience working with offshore engineering teams
- Experience managing backlogs and sprint planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with both technical and business teams
Plusses
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of data architecture and APIs
- Experience with AWS or cloud platforms
- Experience with service-oriented or modular system design
- Understanding of marketing and advertising systems
- Experience with payments or mobile payments
- Background as a software engineer or technical lead
- Experience with Linux, Java, and HTML
- Proven record of successful product launches
