About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 123k/year - 143k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Merrillville, IN area.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in wireless networking, preferably in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of Cisco networking equipment and wireless technologies
- Hands-on experience conducting wireless site surveys and using design tools such as Ekahau
- Proficiency in network documentation and diagramming tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and configuration optimization
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with F5 version upgrades or migrations
- Knowledge of cloud integrations (AWS, Azure) with F5 services
- Background in high-availability enterprise environments with load balancing
