About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Design System Architect to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. The client has expressed an interest in hiring the individual after project completion. Consulting engagements of this type typically last an average of 3-6 months.

Compensation for this position ranges from 102k/year - 144k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Blue Ash, OH area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience architecting and maintaining enterprise-scale design systems and reusable UI component libraries across Web, iOS, and Android
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including component creation, variant management, and advanced auto-layout techniques
  • Strong understanding of modular and scalable design architecture, with the ability to build systems that support growth across multiple teams and products
  • Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Skilled at documenting component states, variations, and usage patterns for design and development alignment
  • Strong commitment to visual consistency and brand integrity across platforms
  • Solid grasp of interaction design principles and how components function within end-to-end user flows
  • Excellent collaboration skills working with developers, designers, and accessibility experts
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate design rationale and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
  • Flexible and adaptive, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to system integrity and quality

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, design systems, or digital product design
  • Previous experience leading or contributing to enterprise-level design systems
  • Familiarity with design-to-development handoff tools such as Storybook, ZeroHeight, or Figma-to-code pipelines
  • Understanding of front-end implementation frameworks (React, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, etc.) and collaboration with engineering teams
