About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Robotics Data Collection Specialist to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 62k/year - 76k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the New York City, NY area.
Must Have
- Associate’s degree
- 2+ years customer service experience in high-volume environments
- Linux, VR headset, gaming/gamepad, or technical troubleshooting experience
- Microsoft Office experience and ability to learn/use technical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and submit clear, detailed support tickets
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Clear communication with researchers, leadership, and support teams
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, work in VR for extended periods, lift up to 10 lbs., and wear equipment up to 30 lbs.
