About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Roadway Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 70k/year - 80k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Columbus, OH area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5–10 years of experience in roadway engineering
- Experience working as part of a project team
- Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time
Nice to Have
- Experience working on transportation or highway projects
- Experience coordinating with clients or public agencies
- Experience reviewing or checking roadway designs
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Experience working on multiple projects at once in a consulting environment
