Gentis Solutions is looking for a Regional Managing Director to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 150k/year - 170k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position allows for individuals to work fully remote anywhere in the continental US.

SUMMARY

The Asia-Pacific Region Managing Director is responsible for the overall reporting and success of Australia, Japan, and the operations and opportunities of the region.

The APRMD will assure alignment of the strategic and tactical goals of the company. Responsibilities will also include the facilitation of continuous improvement strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and develop common, consistent, and transparent reporting between organizations.

This position will promote positive interactions between all functional processes and policies.

In addition, this position may include general oversight of Managing Directors in the Asia-Pacific areas as assigned by the President/CEO.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategize, develop, and improve overall capabilities among companies with the goal of sharing synergies to ensure consistent achievement of corporate goals.

Strategize with peers on best practices, policies and benchmarks to achieve the timely delivery of designs and products, inventory management, overhead cost reductions, achievement of production schedules, and efficient use of resources.

Assist with processes and analytics that allow global teams to plan, formulate cost and implement strategies to produce parts and/or products at the lowest total cost without compromising quality or delivery.

Provide oversight to Asia-Pacific Managing Directors for financial planning and budgets, operations, and sales strategies to meet corporate goals and expectations.

Ensure proper alignment of Asia-Pacific facilities through proper management, headcount, and acquisition of equipment.

Provide guidance and strategy for Asia-Pacific Sales/Marketing campaigns.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or relevant discipline. Relevant advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in organizational management with an emphasis on finance,

sales, and manufacturing.

Must have good knowledge of standard cost systems, strong knowledge of budgeting processes, and previous P & L responsibility.

Experience with multi-facility operations and global manufacturing/sourcing.

Familiarity with global regulatory requirements.

General knowledge of foreign and domestic tariffs, duties, VAT recovery, etc.

Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean, six sigma, 5S, etc.)

Responsibility for setting strategies involving multiple international organizations.
