Gentis Solutions is looking for a Recording Clerk to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration. This position requires the individual to be located in the Decatur, IL area.


  • H.S. diploma required plus a minimum of 2 years equivalent general office/accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone, and ten-key skills
  • Basic understanding of mathematical/accounting procedures is required
  • Attention to detail and the ability to locate discrepancies are essential for this position
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
