Compensation for this position ranges from 62k/year - 73k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Fairfield, OH area.

General Description

We are seeking a skilled Mag Particle Level II professional who will also serve as a Quality Inspector. This dual-role position requires expertise in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) methods, as well as experience in quality inspection and compliance within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will perform MT inspections to identify material defects and support quality control initiatives that ensure products meet all required standards and specifications.

Reports to: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections following established procedures and applicable industry standards.

  • Examine components, materials, and finished products for surface and near-surface discontinuities or defects.

  • Accurately interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in detailed reports.

  • Apply MT techniques to detect cracks, inclusions, and other flaws in ferrous materials.

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and support process improvements.

  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of inspection results, training certifications, and qualification documentation.

  • Ensure measurement and testing equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and repaired as needed.

  • Promote a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Stay current with industry practices and technical standards through continued education and professional development.

  • Contribute to organizational goals by completing related tasks and supporting overall quality initiatives. Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar inspection or quality assurance role.
