About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a QA Lead level 3 to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. The client has expressed an interest in hiring the individual after project completion. Consulting engagements of this type typically last an average of 3-6 months.
Compensation for this position ranges from 0.055k/year - 0.068k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Blue Ash, OH area.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA experience with cross-functional expertise in automated frontend testing, test plan lifecycle, and test data management
- Prior experience with MAWM (Modern Application Workflow Management)
- Experience with QA processes and deliverables in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficient in defect tracking and root cause analysis using tools such as Jira or Rally
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab, etc.)
- Strong understanding of automation and performance testing concepts
- Experience with risk-based testing techniques
- Experience working with or on remote and distributed teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, especially in vendor, offshore, and third-party coordination
- Experience in large enterprise systems with complex QA workflows
- Ability to challenge existing norms and contribute to continuous process improvement
Specialization/Role Requirements for Automation
- 5+ years of experience writing automated frontend tests using Selenium with Java or JavaScript (WebDriver, WebDriverIO, Marathon, Appium, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with test runners such as JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, or Jasmine
- 5+ years of experience working with CI tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab
- 2+ years of experience using Selenium Grid for distributed test execution
- 3+ years of experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
- 2+ years of experience using Jira for defect tracking
Nice to Have
- Experience managing or supporting test environments
- Exposure to performance testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with test data provisioning and environment setup automation
- Experience working across business units or departments to align on quality standards and practices
