Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture

• OR 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on large commercial design/construction projects

• 4+ years of experience in the design or construction industry

• Experience with design/construction management software such as:

• Autodesk BIM360

• Bluebeam

• Procore

• Strong experience in technical documentation review and management

• Familiarity with project lifecycle sequencing, design documentation, and construction handoff materials (drawings, specs, BOMs, calculations)

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders independently

• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills

• Proven ability to write and manage quality documentation, including contract compliance

• Experience in project documentation archiving, versioning, and permission access control

• Skilled in preparing ad hoc reporting, tracking project KPIs and documentation workflows

• Comfortable providing training and support to internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to manage user accounts, security groups, and documentation permissions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document control systems

• Knowledge of collaborative project management systems

Nice to Have

• Experience in project management, especially within the design and construction field

• Experience in Data Center design and engineering

• Familiarity with or experience using Salesforce, BIM tools, Procore, and SharePoint

• Strong writing skills, particularly for technical and functional specifications

• Ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings and specifications

• Experience conducting audits to ensure processes are being followed

• Experience leading process improvement and redesign initiatives

• Familiarity with Amazon’s leadership principles or demonstrated ability to operate in high-performance cultures

• Configuration Analyst/System Owner experience for Design Engineering documents
