About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Pipeline Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 83k/year - 108k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the , PA area.
Requirements

University degree in engineering or a related field

5 years of pipeline engineering experience- Specifically Project Management

Strong knowledge of PHMSA regulations and pipeline integrity standards Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred but not explicitly required)

Experience in the gas utility industry

Proven background in:

Project Management or Program Management

Project Controls
-
Portfolio Management

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Familiarity with data collection methods, ability to understand and interpret trends and risk across asset classes

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Nice To Have
- Power BI experience (used for reporting and visualizing state-level performance indicators)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of:
- Gas system design and operations (e.g., gas flow, construction practices, contracts, emergency response)
- Local, state, and federal pipeline safety regulations
- Integrity management systems
