About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 0.001k/year - 0.002k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Montréal, QC area.

Requirements

Technical training or degree in Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
Experience performing electrical or mechanical maintenance, including preventive and predictive maintenance
Experience diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and documenting breakdowns
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice to Have

Experience with automation hardware or software
Knowledge of control systems
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
