Gentis Solutions is looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 75k/year - 120k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Saint Paul, MN area.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and be adept at designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
The job will include hands on building of high voltage, three-phase, industrial automation electrical panels, electrical print design and maintenance, PCB schematic design and PCB layout.
Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems and components in accordance with project specifications.

Create and review schematics, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NEC and UL.

Utilize software tools like Altium and AutoCAD Electrical for creating detailed designs and layouts.

Program industrial automation, servo motion systems and related applications via PLCs in Structured Text.

Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems using tools such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, software tools and debuggers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project scheduling and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Implement FPGA designs for various applications, ensuring optimal performance.

Document design processes, specifications, and test results for future reference.

Provide on-site technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Self motivated to learn, with a high energy, results oriented work ethic.

Proficuancy with EDA tools such as Altium and AutoCAD Electrical.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C# for automation tasks.

Experience with project scheduling tools to effectively manage timelines.

Familiarity with SystemVerilog for hardware description language applications.

Strong understanding of electrical principles, including circuit design and analysis.

Hands-on experience with soldering and assembling electronic components.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
