Gentis Solutions is looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 102k/year - 153k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Thomaston, CT area.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the hardware design and development of microcontroller-based embedded control systems, as implemented in instrumentation and control applications.
- Experience in the software design and development of microcontroller-based embedded control systems, primarily using ANSI C, and Java.
- Experience in the development of analog I/O interfaces, including A/D and D/A interfaces required to interface analog input/s to embedded processor and/or PLD.
- Experience in the selection and programming of PLD devices, using VHDL.
- Experience in design for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) mitigation, especially as it relates to MIL-DTL-461 compliance.
- Experience working with 480 VAC, 3-phase power systems.
- Knowledge of industry specifications including NEMA, UL, and MIL specs and standards.
- Experience in technical leadership of cross-functional design teams.
- Experience with designing for manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
