Gentis Solutions is looking for a Electrical Controls Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview. Compensation for this role ranges from $ 60,000 - $ 80,000 per year based on experience. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the continental United States.

Requirements:

  • Design Electrical schematics using AutoCad Software or equivalent
  • Ability to design and develop machine controls for heat seal packaging machinery
  • Ability to develop enclosure panel layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent computer
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming


Nice to Have:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment with electro-mechanical components; example: relays, motor starters, temperature controllers, and others
  • Proficient using AutoCAD software or equivalent for electrical designing
  • Ability to integrate various inkjet, laser, or robotic systems
  • Programming of machine control components consisting of A-B PLC’s, HMI’s and others
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience programming other types of PLC’s (ex. Omron) and HMI’s is a plus
