About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 104k/year - 112k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Bellevue, WA area.
Must Have:

3 years of related experience

Very Strong development experience with notable BI reporting tools (Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)).

Ability to develop and execute Python/Spark scripts for large-scale data warehouse migration projects.

Should have experience developing complex and a variety of reports.

Strong analytical skills and enjoys working with large complex data sets.

Good knowledge of SQL

Can partner with business owners directly to understand their requirements and provide data which can help them observe patterns and spot anomalies.
Plusses:
- Strong OBIEE reporting experience
- Experience with Redshift, Athena, Hive Query
- Understands EMR
