Gentis Solutions is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 0.052k/year - 0.061k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Blue Ash, OH area.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Puppet, or Selenium
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and familiarity with Unity Catalog or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft’s data tools (Forms, Excel, etc.)
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC
- Ability to follow design standards, patterns, and configurations to support enterprise-wide data delivery
- Proven track record of taking initiatives from concept to enterprise rollout
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Skilled in documentation and collaboration using tools like Confluence
