About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 0.052k/year - 0.061k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Blue Ash, OH area.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Informatica tools (PowerCenter, IICS, Edge, EDC, IDQ)
  • Expertise in Korn Shell scripting
  • Experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
  • Strong SQL scripting and stored procedure development skills
  • Knowledge of AIX/Unix and Linux operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with databases: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza, Cassandra
  • Familiarity with file transfer technologies: Connect Direct, MQFTE

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services: Databricks, Data Factory, ADLS, SQL Data Warehouse
