Gentis Solutions is looking for a Civil Engineer, Aviation Department to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 120k/year - 150k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Kansas City, MO area.

JOB TITLE: Aviation and Civil Engineering Project Manager III

Job Summary: This position is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for projects focused on Airport Projects from inception thru completion. This position is key in establishing and improving client relationships and growth within a client base as well as securing repeat opportunity within a client base.

Project Management: Responsible for and manages project profit/loss. Identify, address, and resolve project issues. Analyze project resource needs and work partners to determine budget and resource allocation. Develop detailed project scope, schedules, and plans. Communicate client needs and expectations. Negotiate project schedule, fee, and scope. Conduct project kick-off meetings and set up project data within internals systems. Conduct project status update meetings to communicate, address, resolve, and anticipate project issues. Ensure client collections are performed in a timely manner. Manage project documentation and filing system. Ensure project QA/QC is performed.

Business Development: Secure new business opportunities and generate new leads. Develop written proposals leads efforts related to project proposals. Create and maintain professional client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of Six (6) years of related Project Management experience or Ten (10) years of related experience.
  • Typically manage a Net Revenue of $2m to $6m+. Net Revenue goals vary based on project timelines, services, and deliverables.
  • Must have current Professional Registration (PE) in Missouri.
  • Must have advanced industry and solution knowledge.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be able to travel to meet the needs and demands of the project.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage cross-functional relationships.

Travel:

  • Minimum travel expectation of 10%. Amount of travel will vary depending on market.
