Gentis Solutions is looking for a Bridge Department Manager to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 90k/year - 115k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Cincinnati, OH area.
Requirements
- ABET-Accredited Civil Engineering degree
- PE Certification
- 5+ years of experience designing complex bridge projects
- Previous experience managing a team
- MicroStation and AutoCAD experience
- Proficiency with bridge design software (i.e. Merlin Dash, OpenBridge, AASHTO BrR)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comfortably jump between concurrent tasks
Typical Duties
- Lead daily production for diverse bridge and structural design projects
- Manage and contribute to the growth of the bridge team in the office location
- Generate and/or review detailed drawings for bridge projects
- Develop scopes of work and fee proposals
- Manage project schedules and budgets for bridge and structural design projects
- Mentor younger staff members within the bridge team
- Oversee and review progress of bridge projects
- Participate in and lead bridge meetings with both the bridge team and clients
- Complete reports and presentations related to bridge and structural design projects
