Gentis Solutions is looking for a Sr. Bridge Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 90k/year - 110k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Cincinnati, OH area.
Requirements
- ABET-Accredited Civil Engineering degree
- PE Certification
- 10+ years of experience designing complex bridge projects
- Previous experience managing projects
- MicroStation and AutoCAD experience
- Proficiency with bridge design software (i.e. Merlin Dash, OpenBridge, AASHTO BrR)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comfortably jump between concurrent tasks
Typical Duties
- Lead daily production for a variety of bridge and structural design projects
- Generate and/or review detailed drawings for bridge and structural designs
- Develop scopes of work and fee proposals for bridge projects
- Manage project schedules and budgets for bridge and structural design endeavors
- Oversee and perform technical design work for bridge plans
- Conduct technical design work for construction quantities and estimates related to bridge projects
- Manage load ratings for bridges to ensure structural integrity and safety
- Address and oversee bridge hydraulics aspects in design and planning processes
