About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Specialist Design (PCB Layout) to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 90k/year - 110k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Rochester, NY area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or
- Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
- Instead of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Agile, Teamcenter, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of PCB design elements, including schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), mechanical interfaces, fabrication, assembly, and associated documentation
- Experience using PCB design tools such as PADS, Xpedition, Cadence, Valor, or comparable software
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with technical documentation and design files
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related discipline
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Exposure to PCB release processes, change control, or design documentation governance
