About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Software Dev Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 104k/year - 121k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Seattle, WA area.

Must Have

2 to 5 years software development experience
Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Java coding experience
Database and SQL query experience
Production application support, troubleshooting, debugging, and code fix experience
Experience developing monitoring solutions or product metrics systems
Experience updating, enhancing, automating, or documenting software/support processes
Experience working with development teams on corporate or enterprise software projects

Plusses

B2B or merchandising application experience
Perl or C/C++ experience
Oracle SQL experience
HTML experience
Unix/Linux experience
Mason or Perl CGI experience
