About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Shipping and Logistics Supervisor to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 75k/year - 90k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Wilmington, OH area.
Requirements
- 5+ years of customs compliance experience, including import and export documentation, HTS codes, tariff classification, country-of-origin rules, and Incoterms
- Experience managing customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and international shipments
- Experience using ERP, shipping, carrier, broker, or global trade management systems
- Proven leadership experience overseeing shipping, warehouse, finished goods, documentation, or packaging teams
- Experience managing transportation methods, routing, freight costs, customs audits, duty calculations, and compliance records
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
Plusses
- Experience coaching employees, managing performance, and resolving employee relations issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proven success balancing safety, quality, productivity, cost, compliance, and customer expectations
