About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Service Technician to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 79k/year - 79k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Erlanger, KY area.
Requirements
- Technical degree or training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in field service, equipment installation, or a similar technical role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office or similar technical software
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in field environments
- Valid driver’s license and passport with ability to travel and work outside the region as required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment and working in varied environmental conditions
Nice to Have
- Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems
