Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior HVAC BIM Designer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. The client has expressed an interest in hiring the individual after project completion. Consulting engagements of this type typically last an average of 3-6 months.

Compensation for this position ranges from 69k/year - 77k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position allows for individuals to work fully remote anywhere in the continental US.

Requirements

5+ years of HVAC or mechanical design experience
Strong hands-on Revit and AutoCAD experience for mechanical design, modeling, and drafting
HVAC design and construction experience with the ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up
Experience designing mechanical systems for semiconductor or similar high-tech facilities
Strong working knowledge of HVAC and mechanical codes, standards, and design practices
Associate degree in Computer Drafting & Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Plusses

Navisworks experience for model review and coordination
Experience leading HVAC system design for buildings, floors, wet-side, or dry-side systems
Experience reviewing and guiding the work of junior designers or early-career engineers
Field survey and existing conditions assessment experience
Experience supporting engineering calculations, submittals, and specifications
