Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 130k/year - 160k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Plymouth, MN area.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, or equivalent controls design experience
EIT credential with plans to pursue PE licensure
5+ years of related engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with a master’s degree
Strong experience with Allen-Bradley controls, Rockwell Studio 5000, PLC programming, and HMI development
Experience designing electrical panels and control systems using PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, motor controllers, sensors, and three-phase motors
Proven ability to own custom control systems through design, programming, testing, installation, commissioning, and client delivery

Plusses

Professional Engineer license
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Siemens controls hardware and software experience
Experience with AutoCAD, ePlan, or similar electrical drafting software
Visual Basic or C programming experience
Background in custom machinery, industrial automation, packaging equipment, or machine-building environments
