Gentis Solutions is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 110k/year - 125k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Gallipolis, OH area.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
10+ years electric motor or rotating machinery design experience
Fractional horsepower motor design experience, including BLDC, PMDC, stepper, or AC motors
Product development experience from concept through production release
Experience with motor fundamentals, magnetics, thermal performance, mechanical integrity, materials, and insulation systems
CAD, engineering calculations, drawings, specs, and BOM experience
Prototype, testing, validation, qualification, life testing, or compliance testing experience
Manufacturing/sustaining engineering support experience, including root cause or corrective actions
Technical leadership or mentorship experience

Plusses

Master’s degree in Engineering
UL, IEC, NEMA, CE, or RoHS standards familiarity
Motor drives, controls, or integrated motion systems experience
Industrial, medical, robotics, or automation market experience
Value engineering, cost reduction, customer application, or product launch support experience
