About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Robotics Hardware Test Technician to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 101k/year - 107k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the North Reading, MA area.
Must Have
- 2+ years of hands-on hardware testing, electromechanical systems, or robotics operations experience
- Strong software log analysis experience, including error logs, system diagnostics, and technical documentation
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience with motors, actuators, sensors, controllers, and related test equipment
- Strong Linux or Unix experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting for testing, automation, data parsing, or troubleshooting
- Experience independently executing tests, diagnosing failures, and resolving technical issues with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Plusses
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, diagnostic software, or other electronic test equipment
- Experience with test software, data systems, and QA processes
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with hands-on use of tools and measurement devices
