About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Power Solutions Project Manager to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 125k/year - 144k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position allows for individuals to work fully remote anywhere in the continental US.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Systems, or related field
- 7+ years project management experience in electrical infrastructure, power generation, or utility-scale energy projects
- Experience managing 10+ concurrent projects
- Experience with temporary and permanent power deployment projects
- Medium/low voltage power infrastructure experience, including switchgear, transformers, generators, metering, and protection systems
- Utility interconnection and service upgrade experience
- Switchgear procurement and delivery coordination experience
- Air permitting experience for stationary power generation equipment
- Vendor, contractor, and cross-functional team management experience
- Project management tool experience, such as Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
Plusses
- PMP, PE, or equivalent certification
- Large-scale industrial or logistics facility power infrastructure experience
- Natural gas pipeline, metering, or pressure regulation experience
- CEQA compliance or California non-attainment area permitting experience
- Generator rental or purchase procurement experience
- Critical facility commissioning or energization experience
- OSHA 30 certification
