Compensation for this position ranges from 55k/year - 80k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Covington, KY area.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established law firm in Covington, Kentucky, is seeking an experienced, organized, and professional Office Manager to oversee its day-to-day administrative and operational functions. This highly visible role will help ensure the office runs efficiently while supporting attorneys and staff, coordinating vendors and resources, and maintaining a polished, welcoming environment for clients.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional setting. Strong communication, sound judgment, and discretion are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily administrative and office operations.

  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, maintenance, repairs, security, and facility needs.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and building management.

  • Develop and maintain procedures that improve office efficiency and organization.

  • Coordinate mail, packages, couriers, deliveries, meetings, conferences, and firm events.

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including seasonal hires.

  • Maintain personnel, administrative, and office records.

  • Supervise receptionists, mailroom clerks, and other administrative support staff.

  • Help ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures.

  • Assist with accounts payable, invoices, expense reports, vendor payments, and budget tracking.

  • Coordinate with the firm's accounting or bookkeeping personnel.

  • Maintain a professional client experience and provide reception or telephone coverage when needed.

  • Coordinate with IT providers on technology issues, office systems, phones, printers, and equipment.

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of office management, administrative management, or related experience.

  • Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience supervising administrative or support staff.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of legal terminology and law firm workflows.

  • Familiarity with legal practice-management, document-management, billing, or timekeeping software.

  • Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, and office technology.

  • Basic accounting, billing, or bookkeeping knowledge.
