About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a NGPOS Ops Onsite Support Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. The client has expressed an interest in hiring the individual after project completion. Consulting engagements of this type typically last an average of 3-6 months.

Compensation for this position ranges from 125k/year - 146k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Blue Ash, OH area.

Requirements

  • 3+ years SRE, incident management, or production support experience for enterprise systems
  • Experience leading P1/P2 major incidents, including bridge/war-room facilitation and outage communication
  • RCA/problem management experience, including corrective and preventive action follow-through
  • Production troubleshooting experience across cloud, on-prem, store, or POS environments
  • Observability/monitoring experience, including logs, dashboards, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, or similar tools
  • Linux and scripting experience, including Bash or Python
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, or GCP familiarity
  • Agile and Jira experience
  • Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders during incidents
