Gentis Solutions is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 80k/year - 100k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Wilmington, OH area.

Requirements

Working knowledge of SolidWorks for mechanical system design and layout
Working knowledge of GD&T and ANSI standards
Understanding of electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems, including motors, pumps, cylinders, valves, and controls
Understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, machining, castings, aluminum extrusions, and welding
Exposure to FDA and ISO-regulated medical device design controls
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Plusses

Medical device product development experience
Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA, CE, MDD, or MDR requirements
Experience with DFM, DFA, DFS, tolerance stack-ups, or FMEA
Experience with battery technologies, PCB, firmware, or software interfaces
Experience supporting verification, validation, design transfer, or product certification
