About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Manager, Electrical Engineering (FPGA) to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 120k/year - 150k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Rochester, NY area.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
- 8+ years FPGA/ASIC embedded system development and verification experience
- FPGA/Firmware development experience
- Experience leading technical teams and firmware development projects
- FPGA/ASIC development and verification process experience
- Experience defining, designing, and verifying FPGA solutions for product development
- Resource, schedule, and budget management experience
- Cross-functional team collaboration experience
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing direct reports
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
Plusses
- VHDL/Verilog coding for synthesis
- SystemVerilog verification experience
- UVM/OVM verification methodology experience
- Embedded cryptographic security or signal processing experience for communication products
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Experience working with remote teams or coworkers
