About the Job
Gentis Solutions is looking for a Manager; Electrical Engineering (FPGA) to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.
Compensation for this position ranges from 115k/year - 140k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the Rochester, NY area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another STEM field
- 8+ years of experience developing and verifying FPGA or ASIC-based embedded systems
- Experience with FPGA/ASIC design and verification processes
- Proven leadership experience managing projects or technical workstreams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed or remote teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with VHDL or Verilog coding for FPGA/ASIC design
- Experience with SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM or OVM
- Experience developing cryptographic or security solutions for communication systems
- Experience with signal processing solutions
- Experience mentoring or leading other engineers
- Active SECRET clearance
