Compensation for this position ranges from 120k/year - 165k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Bloomington, MN area.

Engineering Technical Lead –

Seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Lead to support the development of connected sensor-based products used within Thermo King transportation refrigeration and telematics systems.

This role is focused on technical leadership of sensor product development programs, including system architecture, component selection, product integration, validation testing, supplier collaboration, and overall engineering execution. This is NOT primarily a hands-on sensor design role. The ideal candidate has experience leading the development and integration of sensor-based products from concept through validation and launch.

Key Technical Experience

Must have experience with several of the following:

  • Sensor-based product development
  • Systems engineering
  • Product architecture and design reviews
  • Requirements development and management
  • Integration, verification, and validation (IV&V)
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving
  • Supplier management and technical collaboration
  • New product development (NPD)
  • Cross-functional engineering leadership

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience working with electronic, embedded, or connected products
  • Experience with environmental, temperature, pressure, vibration, telematics, GPS, or other sensor technologies
  • Experience leading technical aspects of projects from concept through launch
  • Experience balancing technical, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
  • Experience working within regulated or highly validated product environments
