Gentis Solutions is looking for a Junior Mechanical Commodity Manager - Metals to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.
Compensation for this position ranges from 67k/year - 80k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.
This position requires the individual to be located in the North Reading, MA area.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Operations
- Advanced Excel experience, including reporting, pivot tables, charts, models, and data analysis
- SQL experience for creating and managing data models
- ERP or Oracle experience
- Business data and analytics experience
- Analyst background or analytical focus in higher education
- Experience with pricing databases, cost comparisons, spend reports, or demand/supply analysis
- Experience supporting supplier management, purchase orders, quotes, documentation, or procurement records
- Strong math, logical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail

- Systems or configuration management understanding
- Experience supporting GA/Sustaining, KTLO programs, or Agile/ECO management
