About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Front End/UI Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 121k/year - 139k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Cincinnati, OH area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Svelte)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working within a microservices architecture
  • Experience building and deploying web applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred), including containerization using Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience implementing authentication in modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and source control
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and shipping production software
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
  • Able to independently learn new technologies and make time-sensitive decisions when needed

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience specifically with Svelte
  • Experience deploying to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other cloud infrastructure patterns
  • Experience with monitoring/alerting and sustainable engineering practices (observability)
