Gentis Solutions is looking for a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. The client has expressed an interest in hiring the individual after project completion. Consulting engagements of this type typically last an average of 3-6 months.

Compensation for this position ranges from 125k/year - 146k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Wilton, CT area.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
10+ years of mechanical facilities design experience across HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems
5+ years of experience managing mechanical design project delivery
Strong knowledge of ASME, ASME B31.3, ASHRAE, building codes, and fire codes
Experience specifying, sizing, selecting, and applying mechanical equipment and components
Experience reviewing vendor submittals and developing design solutions that balance cost, schedule, and scope

Plusses

EIT or Professional Engineer licensure
5+ years of facility engineering experience
Experience working with P&IDs, PFDs, equipment plans, details, and related design deliverables
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM 360
Field experience coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams
