Gentis Solutions is looking for a Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our client's team. Client-specific benefits are available and will be discussed in detail during your interview.

Compensation for this position ranges from 120k/year - 125k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position requires the individual to be located in the Troy, OH area.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive EH&S experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience developing, rebuilding, or significantly improving EH&S programs
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, air emissions, chemical management, and environmental compliance
Experience managing industrial safety programs including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, contractor safety, PPE, and emergency response
Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analyses, audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field

Plusses

8 to 10 years of EH&S experience
EH&S experience in chemicals, coatings, adhesives, plastics, or similar manufacturing environments
Experience with hazardous chemicals, regulated waste streams, environmental permitting, and air emissions reporting
Experience building emergency response teams and facility drill programs
CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH, OSHA training credentials, or similar professional certifications
