About the Job

Gentis Solutions is looking for a Employee Benefits Consultant to join our team. This role is part of our Professional Consultants group, working directly with clients to accomplish their goals. Consulting engagements typically last an average of 12 months but often extend in duration.

Compensation for this position ranges from 104k/year - 125k/year per year, based on experience. Payment is bi-weekly and is based on all hours worked, without eligibility for overtime.

This position allows for individuals to work fully remote anywhere in the continental US.

Position Overview: Driving operational excellence across leave administration, disability programs, HRIS processes, and employee communications.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with deep expertise in benefits operations within large, complex organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and service delivery performance
  • Partner closely with HRIS teams, including Workday administration and optimization
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Support benefits-related communications and employee engagement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop reporting and analytics to support leadership decision-making
  • Collaborate across HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and external partners

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive benefits experience
  • CEBS certification strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of benefits operations and compliance
  • Strong Workday HRIS experience
  • Experience managing leave, disability, and FMLA programs
  • Vendor management expertise
  • Strong process improvement orientation
  • Experience in large enterprise or multinational organizations

  • Merger/integration experience
  • Financial services or fintech background
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytics/reporting capabilities
